Bachelor of Engineering Electrical Engineering

The course allows scientific knowledge to be implemented in specific applications from the areas of development, project planning, production, quality assurance and sales. The compact course combined with targeted training at the company provides the DH course with holistic learning and targeted action. Each DH semester includes a 3 month practical training at the company. The main points include: electrical engineering, power electronics, microprocessor technology, software development, measurement processing, quality management and project work. After the basic course, a choice can be made between the main study points of automation technology and communications engineering.

Preconditions: high school graduation and a high level of independence and technical understanding, good social manners and the ability to work in a team.
Training period: 3 years

Bachelor of Engineering Machine Manufacturing

Knowledge from many different areas is taught with a broad based training in the machine manufacturing courses. This covers basic research, development and the application of the latest production processes. The combination of several sciences, technical knowledge and business content makes the machine manufacturing course very diverse. The compact course combined with targeted training at the company provides the DH course with holistic learning and targeted action. Each DH semester includes a 3 month practical training at the company. The focus is on the design and calculation of gear unit components with corresponding calculation and simulation programs as well as the design of production parts and castings using modern CAD systems. The engineering tasks are trained for in project work and a high level of social and methodical expertise is conveyed that enables interdisciplinary thinking. After the basic course, the student can choose between the major fields of study of design/development and production technology.

Electronics engineer for devices and systems

Electronic engineers at STOBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK deal with the planning and manufacture of analog and digital circuits in the field of drive technology. The latest technologies are used here. Training covers topics such as the safe handling of electricity, the operation of an electric motor, soldering and the measurement of a circuit, installation and use of a modern frequency inverter. This is supplemented by the principles of industrial mechanic training, electronic repairs, prototype building and application technology.

Preconditions: high school diploma or comparable school-leaving diploma. A high level of independence and technical understanding, good social manners and the ability to work in a team.
Training period: 3 ½ years

Specialist for metal technology, specialization in assembly technology

The specialist for metal technology installs the many versions of our gear unit types and checks the gear units on different test benches. Together with basic mechanical education, skills for the manufacturing cycles are taught in the specialist departments.

Preconditions: good secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma or technical secondary school certificate. A high level of independence and technical understanding, good social manners and the ability to work in a team

Industrial mechanic

The industrial mechanic produces components for machine manufacturing on modern machine tools. The machining processes for this in particular are turning, milling, drilling and grinding. The careful mounting and maintenance of systems is also included in the field of activity. These skills are taught in the training workshop and specialist departments at STOBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK.

Industrial clerk

Industrial clerks have their fields of activity in the areas of purchasing, production control, human resources, sales, accounting, controlling and shipping. They plan, manage and organize. At STOBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK, trainees visit all essential specialist departments from the start and thus get to know the relationships of the company methodically. They know the products and how they are manufactured. You will be supervised by training representatives in the departments. After a short time, the tasks of a clerk can be carried out under supervision.

Preconditions: high school diploma, vocational college or high school graduation. Good social manners and ability to work in a team.
Training period: 3 years

Industrial clerk with additional qualification International marketing/international trade

Industrial clerks have their fields of activity in the areas of purchasing, production control, human resources, sales, accounting, controlling and shipping. They plan, manage and organize. At STOBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK, trainees visit all essential specialist departments from the start and thus get to know the relationships of the company methodically. They know the products and how they are manufactured. By combining international business knowledge with two languages relevant to the job, training will have a distinctive profile. In addition international trade/marketing and English and Spanish are taught in the vocational school. You will be supervised by training representatives in the departments. After a short time, the tasks of a clerk can be carried out under supervision.

Training period: 2 years

Technical product designer Specialization in machine and system design

Technical product designers create precise technical drawings that are used as the working basis for technical manufacture and assembly processes. This work is achieved with the latest 3D-CAD programs. After basic mechanical training, the technical product designer learns how to handle drawing and material standards, tables and design guidelines.

Process mechanic for coating technology

The process mechanic controls and monitors manual and automatic systems for coating surfaces made of wood, metal and plastic. The coating materials (paints, lacquers) are applied using various application methods. At STOBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK, trainees become familiar with all technical and manual operating materials that are needed for coating over the entire duration of the vocational training. The trainees learn about the pretreatment and post-treatment of uncoated and coated surfaces. Various production techniques such as grinding, filling and polishing are taught. Quality control and the recording of measurement values are also a part of training. After a short time, trainees will be able to operate systems independently and paint gear units.
