The development and integration of the MC6 motion controller into the extensive STOBER product portfolio allows for drive engineering solutions from a single source. Use of the CODESYS programming system allows open motion control system concepts (IEC 61131-3) to be realized. The MC6 motion controller is also suitable for use as a PLC. The MC6 motion controller is available as cabinet PC version or as touch panel version.

In this version, the MC6 motion controller is ideal for use as both a programmable logic controller (PLC) and as a motion controller for subareas of complex systems with a higher level PLC. The compact design and fanless convection cooling allow for installation in a control cabinet without any special arrangements (rear-side rail).
It is possible and easy to connect an HMI panel (from a third-party provider).
Versions with touch panel.
The touch panel version makes the MC6 motion controller especially well-suited as a controller for complete machines or systems without a higher level PLC. The panel version supports convenient interaction for applications with parameterization requirements.
The STOBER multi-axis drive system, consisting of SI6 series drive controllers in combination with central PS6 supply modules, is optimized for controller-based applications.
SI6 and MC6 provide successful and reliable solutions to meet ever-present customer demands for faster cycle speeds and higher application rates.
This license is part of every MC6 motion controller. It includes the license for PLC applications without motion control.
In addition to PLC functionality, it is possible to implement motion programing using PLCopen-compliant blocks.
In addition to PLCopen-compliant programming, this license variant also provides the option of using CNC functionality with G-code (DIN 66025), robotics functions and coordinate transformations for various mechanical systems.
