I work as an SAP Inhouse Consultant in the IT department, managing various areas related to digital business processes and system optimization. In addition, I’m responsible for our apprentices.
Why did you become a trainer?
Because I find it exciting to share knowledge and guide young people as they begin their professional journeys. I enjoy seeing their development and working together to find solutions. Everyone brings their own perspective, which makes the collaboration dynamic and rewarding.
What is your goal as a trainer?
My goal is to prepare our apprentices—both professionally and personally—as best as possible for their future careers. I want to encourage them to think independently, take responsibility, and actively contribute to the team. It’s important to me to create an open and supportive learning environment where they can grow and develop their strengths.
Why do you enjoy working with apprentices?
Each of them brings their own personality, new ideas, and a fresh perspective. I really enjoy accompanying this development process and building an open, trusting relationship. It’s important to me that the apprentices feel comfortable and know they can always come to me with questions or challenges.
What is your personal recipe for success?
Openness, curiosity, and a passion for improvement. I question things, communicate directly, and stay flexible. Treating others with respect and appreciation is essential to me.
What advice would you give to young people starting their careers?

Levin Fuchs
First Level Support / IT Infrastructure
What exactly are your responsibilities at STOBER?
In First Level Support, our range of tasks is broad—everything from rolling out new devices to handling both everyday and unusual issues with notebooks, PCs, smartphones, or our network infrastructure.
We’re also responsible for onboarding and training new employees, as well as conducting small training sessions and providing user guidance.
The work is very diverse; we move between different areas and quickly get to know other departments throughout the company.
What are the requirements for your position?
Multitasking, technical understanding, communication skills (e.g., explaining complex issues in simple terms), willingness to learn, patience, empathy, and the ability to quickly identify, analyze, and solve problems.
Have you mastered any particular challenges? How did you accomplish that?
When our colleagues experience IT issues, we in First Level Support are their first point of contact. Our task is to identify and resolve the problem.
A solid technical understanding is especially important, as it allows us to comprehend issues on a technical level and systematically narrow them down. Communication is another key skill—it’s crucial for correctly identifying the problem in the first place.
Do you enjoy working in a team? What does teamwork look like for you?
Yes, I really enjoy working in a team. To me, teamwork means learning from one another, providing mutual support, sharing responsibility, and giving constructive feedback. Good communication is essential for a team’s success.
One example from my daily work is forwarding tickets to Second Level Support:
I collect all relevant information and pass along a detailed problem description to Second Level Support. Through fast communication and collaboration, we solve the issue efficiently as a team.
Additionally, we sometimes hold short debriefings between First and Second Level Support to improve the process and handle similar cases even more efficiently in the future. I believe teamwork not only boosts productivity but also creates a positive working atmosphere.
Why is STOBER the right employer for you?
