Typical subjects and tasks during your studies:
- Learning the fundamentals of mathematics, physics and engineering sciences
- Gaining insights into design, construction and modern manufacturing processes
- Designing and calculating gear components using simulation and calculation software
- Designing production and cast parts with modern CAD systems
- Completing a three-month practical phase each semester within the company and applying what you’ve learned directly
- Developing engineering, social and methodological skills through project work
- After the foundation course: choosing between the specialisations Design/Development and Production Engineering
The dual study programme combines compact theoretical phases at the university with intensive practical experience in the company. You will not only learn how to solve complex technical problems, but also how to think in a goal-oriented and interdisciplinary way. This combination will prepare you perfectly for demanding tasks in mechanical engineering – today and in the future.
