Your First Week of Training
Outdoor Workshop

To make the start of your apprenticeship easier and to help apprentices get to know each other, we organise a full-day outdoor training session on the second day of the programme. This special event not only gives new apprentices the chance to meet fellow trainees from other professions and degree programmes in a relaxed setting, but also lays the foundation for strong teamwork and a real sense of community within the new training year.

The training is led by experienced, specially trained, and certified outdoor coaches who design a varied and well-structured educational programme. Through a range of group and cooperation exercises, key soft skills such as teamwork, communication, responsibility, and mutual trust are specifically developed and strengthened.

Team Projects at STOBER

At STOBER, our apprentices work on hands-on projects – with real responsibility. Along the way, they gain valuable experience: they see how challenges arise in everyday working life and learn how to overcome them successfully as a team.

Whether it’s planning, implementation, or presentation – every contribution counts. In the process, our apprentices grow both professionally and personally.

Examples of our apprentice projects:

  • Building a soapbox car – from design to test drive
  • Developing a trade fair model – technology you can touch
  • Designing a toy robot – including a presentation at the apprenticeship fair
  • Constructing a grab machine

What all projects have in common: team spirit, creativity, and plenty of enthusiasm.

In addition, our apprentices actively contribute to our Instagram channel as part of our apprentice influencer team. In monthly editorial meetings, they plan content, implement creative ideas, and provide authentic insights into apprenticeship life at STOÖBER.

Team Events at STOBER

Shared experiences bring people closer – and that’s exactly what we encourage at STOBER from the very beginning.

Whether sporty, creative, or technical: our team events strengthen the bond between apprentices, build trust, and are simply great fun.

What you can look forward to:

  • Action-packed activities such as high ropes courses, raft building, archery, go-karting, or group hikes
  • Practical training sessions – for example, driver safety training with real added value
  • Exciting company visits

This is how many individuals grow into one strong team – creating memories that last.

Social Engagement at STOBER

At STOBER, we promote not only professional skills but also social competence. Our apprentices are given the opportunity to look beyond their everyday working lives and take on social responsibility.

Through hands-on involvement in social projects, they gain new perspectives and develop a stronger awareness of their surroundings – both personally and as a team.
These activities are an integral part of our training programme:

  • Guardian Angel training at STOBER – promoting greater road safety
  • Social Week at the Vesperkirche Pforzheim – helping, contributing, empathising
  • Social Week at the Pforzheim Food Bank – insights that last
  • First Aid Course – saving lives in an emergency

This way, our apprentices not only gain technical knowledge but also develop personal maturity – and a respectful appreciation for what truly matters.
