When developing its helical bevel gear units, STOBER focused on achieving the lowest possible power loss – and reaching a high gear efficiency. The gear units achieve the best value of 97% in particular due to the high-quality technology used to manufacture the helical gearing.
Other outstanding features are the unsurpassed smooth operation and the high power density.
The torsion-resistant monoblock design favorably reduces the noise development of the gear units.

K gear units are very torsion-resistant helical bevel gear units featuring high-quality helical gearing. The series is available in three different classes, so you can adapt it perfectly to the application you need.
K gear units also have an impressive single-cast design and a wide range of housing designs.
The gear units are available either as compact servo, Lean or asynchronous helical bevel geared motors for direct attachment or they can be attached to all common synchronous servo motors by suitable adapters.
KL series helical bevel gear units are also manufactured from a single mold without any seams and are used primarily when applications call for high dynamics, low weight and, above all, a small installation space. This makes them ideal for the packaging industry.
KL gear units also have an impressive and extremely attractive price-performance ratio.
The gear units are either available as directly attached, compact servo or Lean helical bevel geared motors or they can be attached to all common synchronous servo motors by suitable adapters.
Thanks to the technology that provides robust bearings and high-quality gearing, the gear units of the KS series are extremely durable and tip-resistant.
They can be used in continuous operation without any problems – even at high speed levels. One of the most important features of the KS series is also its very high torsional stiffness.
KS gear units are either available as directly attached, compact servo bevel geared motors or they can be attached to all common synchronous servo motors by suitable adapters.
